I have had the tendency of thinking of a comment I want to make, and then never getting to it.
So things are rather stale here.
I thought I'd change that be trying to point something out, the difference between a Dunkirk and a D-Day event.
Note the direction of the troop movements.
The achievements of the Democrats this last election are a Dunkirk movement -- relatively skillful, performed under great pressure, but the principal conquest was time to fight again.
For better of worse, it was a loss. We are still on the back foot.
